I spent today frantically SPRING. CLEANING. The vacuum chased dust bunnies out of the crevices of the couch, winter coats got tucked away for the season, and a few kids’ items got posted to my local Buy Nothing group (a recipient said she saw me at the zoo earlier this week— then shared she recognized me from my profile picture because, in addition to being a group admin, I’ve “gifted” to her so many times in the past… I’m not sure what this says about my Buy Nothing habits 😂).
In the spirit of all things season-changing and spring-cleaning, one of my favorite corners of the internet just published my love letter to the benefits of “letting go.” You can check it out— along with the other thoughtful, curious writers on No Sidebar— here.
The exact same link— but now with a big button. Like what I did there? 😂
(Also… I last wrote for No Sidebar in January 2021 with “A Season to Reckon: Owning my Environmental Impact”— put side by side, these articles make it seem like I reference ‘changing seasons’ WAY more than I actually do, but I figured I’d throw this piece into the conversation as well).
What’s something you’ve “let go of” recently? Did letting go feel abso-freaking-lutely great, like a breath of fresh air in your life? It always does for me.
Happy Spring Cleaning!
XOXO Jennifer
